Tourist activities to discover in the summer around Club Arêches Beaufort

The tourist activities near the Arêches-Beaufort holiday village in the Beaufort mountains are the perfect springboard to discover the fantastic heritage of the Savoie as a family. In the nearby village of Beaufort, indulge your gluttonous side and make a visit to the dairy cooperative that makes Beaufort cheese. Did you know the “prince of Gruyère cheese” is made in the valley's cheese dairies and the delicious flavour is down to the exceptional quality of the alpine pastures?
Near our club-village in the Savoie, you can walk along the Chemins du Baroque trail, take a trip to the Beaufort dams, or visit the Hauteluce living museum and the medieval city of Conflans. Around the Saint-Guérin Lake, there's a walking path open to all, with a long Himalayan footbridge suspended over the water. Further afield, your trips might take you as far as Albertville, Annecy and the lake, Aix les Bains and the Hautecombe Abbey, or Chamonix and the glaciers...

Also find our guide to know what to do on holiday in the French Alps.
